WASHINGTON HIRES NEW BASEBALL COACH
Washington High School hired Coach Nate Espy today to take over the varsity baseball program at his alma mater. Coach Espy is a former professional baseball player and most recently was an assistant coach at West Florida Tech High School. After graduating from Washington High School Coach Espy played baseball at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. In 1998 Coach Espy was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies.
